Rachel graduated from the Faculty of Law of Dagon University of Myanmar with Honours Degree and commenced her legal career with Myanmar Legal Advisors Group in 2004. She was admitted as a Higher Grade Pleader of the Divisional Court of Myanmar in 2005. Thereafter she obtained LL.M (Commercial Law) degree of the University of Yangon in 2006.

From January 2007 to July 2008, she joined the corporate department of Haridass Ho & Partners of Singapore where she assisted the partners in drafting of various corporate agreements.

She now deals with diversity of works including

• Providing legal services in drafting commercial agreements and contracts such as joint venture agreement, shareholders’ agreement, collaboration agreement, concession agreement, franchise agreement, partnership agreement, agency agreement, distributorship agreement, service agreement and agreement for sale and purchase of businesses, properties and assets, etc...

• Providing legal advice to assist with an investment of citizens and foreign entrepreneurs and rendering legal services in setting up business entities in Myanmar, including provision of legal service to assist with corporate secretarial compliance prior to formation and due diligence aspects of acquisition of business 

• Providing legal advice for commercial and financial problems between local companies, foreign companies and also between local and foreign companies

• Providing legal advice and rendering legal assistance on all employment-related matters and issues on termination of employment

• Providing legal advice and conducting due diligence on lease, sale and purchase of movable and immovable properties as well as preparation of agreements and legal documents for such transactions
